Ada’s List

Ada’s List is a global community of womxn and non-binary people who work in technology. The Ada’s List mission is powerful and seeks change in existing, patriarchal and racist power structures; this mission has created a global movement of over 8,000 women to support one another and raise each other up.

The story.

I co-founded Adas’s List after I moved to London from Washington, DC. When I left DC, there were several vibrant, active communities of women in tech, not so in London. Ada’s List changed that and is part of a necessary community infrastructure that helps women find jobs in tech and supports them on their journey.

Since, Ada’s List has grown to over 8000 women from all over the world; I was the first CEO from 2019-2021. I founded a consultancy in 2020 to support organizations who want a more hands-on approach in their DEI efforts. Our consultants and experts are Ada’s List members and we work with some of the best clients in London.

We host
great events.

Hundreds join us for our annual conference for keynotes, talks and workshops by Ada’s List members who share their stories of innovation and change. Ada’s List members also love a good book launch; pictured above is the launch of Cathy Newman’s Book “Bloody Brilliant Women.” We hosted the UK launch of Aminatou Sow and Ann Friedman’s book, “Big Friendship”. Check out our events -  and hope to see you there.

Truly intersectional.

I’m proudest of the Ada’s List Agenda - drafted 2 years after the launch of Ada’s List, it sets out our intersectional approach to change that all members must agree to before joining Ada’s List. Read our full agenda.
